Summer Day Camps 2024
Mondays through Fridays 9 am to 1pm
Our camps run weekly but we design our camp programming so campers can attend two weeks of camps (if desired) and learn different climbing skills. They are labeled Week A and Week B; although there will be overlap, campers attending both will experience different programming for Week A and Week B. Both Weeks A and B are standalone - attending one week of camp is perfectly fine!
Ages 8 and above: Our camps are now for ages 8 and up. We will split participants into groups based on age and skill - older climbers (i.e. high school) are very welcome!
Instructor ratio: We staff our camps with 3 to 4 instructors and a maximum of 22 participants.
Weeks
July 8 - 12: Week A curriculum
July 15 - 19: Week B curriculum
July 22- 26: Week A curriculum
July 29 - Aug 2: Week B curriculum
Aug 5 - 9: Week A curriculum
Aug 12 - 16: Week B curriculum
Aug 19 - 23: Week A curriculum
More Information…
$285 per week for non-members, $256.5 for members*
*The camper is considered a member if their parent or their child is a member during the week(s) that they are attending camp. We will check membership status at check-in on first day of camp!
Refund Policy
The fee is fully refundable until June 1st, 2024 or if the camps are unable to be run due to low enrollment (we will run it at 50% enrollment or more) or any health department issues such as COVID or illness breakout. 50% refund if cancelling between June 1st and June 30th. No refund if cancelling after June 30th. Please click HERE for self-service refund instructions (available until 6/1/2024).
Transfer Policy
Parents may contact other parents to swap or take over a camp spot, but that must be arranged independently (please email staff@cayugaclimbs.com with the swap or the change in camper details)
Skill Level
Your child does not need any experience in climbing to join our camps! In fact, most campers do not have prior climbing experience. We will split each week’s camps up into three skills levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Requirements
To stay compliant with NY State Health Department requirements, we will need immunization records, restrictions, allergies, medications, and their physician's name, phone number, and address on file.
Equipment Needed
We provide all the equipment needed (rental climbing shoes and chalk)! Please pack snacks, a lunch, and a water bottle for your child - we have filtered water on site. We do a pizza party on the last day of every week of camp. Dress comfortably in athletic clothes.
NOTE: When registering, please use the email of the parent/guardian who will be communicating with us. Please check your email for all communications!
Waitlist: Please click HERE to be put on our waitlist if the week you want to register for is full.
